Chief Executive Officer
Roland was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Black Cat Engineering & Construction in December 2013. He is responsible for leading the strategic development, growth and leadership of the company as well as group operations, working closely with the management team to maintain long-term relationships with our clients and ensure the smooth functioning of all aspects of business operations. Roland previously worked in operation management for the Heavy Construction and Oil and Gas Industries in Australia, Europe and the Middle East.
Hassan joined Black Cat Engineering & Construction in 1984. He is responsible for all tendering and contracts functions. Hassan has more than 40 years of experience in the Oil and Gas and Construction Industries having served for prominent organizations in the Middle East and Africa. His expertise includes leveraging and developing in-house talent, creating accomplished technical method statements, execution plans and setup of construction plans and policies for new proposals.
Dr. Salman joined Black Cat Engineering & Construction as Technical Manager in October 1999. His responsibilities cover overall supervision of the EPC project execution, to ensure all deliverables from E to P to C to final handover are in accordance to contractual technical requirements and best industry practices.
Operational Service Manager
Jason was appointed Manager Operational Services and Business Improvement & IT, in October 2012 reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. His responsibilities include oversight of the execution of the works and ensuring that International Best Practices are implemented throughout the business. Jason has over 22 years of experience in all elements of shutdown / project management and execution, business development and procedural / system design and implementation in Oil and Gas, Mining and other industries in Australia, New Zealand, Middle East, Canada / USA, Asia, UK and New Caledonia.
HSEQ and Training Manager
Colin joined the company in January 2013 as HSEQ and Training Manager. He brings over 30 years of experience in the development and implementation of health, safety, environmental and loss prevention systems and procedures in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical and Dairy Industries. These comprehensive management systems ensured compliance with regulatory, client and company requirements while also setting high expectations for continuous improvement in performance with the objective of the company achieving industry “best practice”. Specialist areas include accident investigation using root cause analysis systems, implementation of behavioural based safety programs, hazard identification and mitigation, industrial hygiene and environmental compliance monitoring.
Bora Haluk Kiziloglu
Haluk was appointed as Project Manager for one of BCEC’s biggest EPC Projects in June 2012, he was then promoted to Manager Projects in December 2013. He manages the project management and central planning teams as well as the support service areas, plant, machinery and vehicle (PMV) departments. Haluk also plays a key role in client relations and business operations. He has significant experience in project management, engineering and construction works for the Oil and Gas Industry in Turkey, Kazakhstan, United Arab Emirates and Qatar.
Shaik Anwar Basha
Procurement Manager (A)
Anwar is presently heading the Procurement Department and is responsible for company’s overall procurement activities.
He joined the company in September 2005 and shares a sound experience of 26 years in procurement gained from various industries such as Steel Plants, Cement Plants, Oil and Gas - EPIC, Operation and Maintenance and Petrochemicals.
Manager, Commercial, HR & Administration
Scott has over 40 years of trade and industry experience which has provided him the opportunity to develop hands-on experience across a wide variety of sectors including Health, Transport, Telecommunications, Heavy Industry and Oil & Gas.
Prior to moving to Qatar in 2008 Scott held various management level roles within large Public and Private sector organisations across Australia. Since moving to Qatar in 2008 Scott’s specific focus has been on developing various growth opportunities within the Industrial, Commercial and Residential sectors within the State of Qatar and the wider GCC region with a strong emphasis on business improvement processes and their successful application.
